Birthdays, Wedding Dinners and Cicaks

It was my birthday on Tuesday. 16th of Jan 1979, oh fateful day!

I'm feeling kinda like this:

Don't get me wrong. I am very grateful for all that is happening in my life right now.

It's just that it always seem so inevitable, so unstoppable ... when time slips past you like that. Before you know it, the next birthday comes around, and you are one year older.

Well, I didn't do much for my birthday, but I got a crazily wonderful pressie from da woman. God, I love her! It's a nifty 1 gigabyte MP3 player. My last one just died on me and whenever i wanted to do my marking and listen to music, I had to lug my CD player and a chucnk of CDs... Now, that thing fits in my pocket like that! =)

Had a wonderful dinner over at a seafood place at Changi Village. Lovely CRAB! yeah...

We've finally decided on a place we want for our wedding dinner. It'll be held at Orchard Parade Hotel, Club Chinois. It took A LOT OF HEADBANGIN', shouting and crying before I managed to arrive a good table number with my parents. Here are the details:

Food from Club Chinois (Tung Lok Group) The Antica Hall @ Orchard Parade is not big... But it is cosy, and well lit. Got to see the setup when we were in Orchard yesterday as well, very nice! They had set up for a wedding when we were there. Bright and white, just the way we want it...

Watched Cicakman with my DnB friends yesterday. Rip-Roaring fun. Simple not-need-to-use brain film that should be watched in a large group. Hahahaha!
